About the Role
The Landscape Foreman is responsible for leading field crews and ensuring that every property serviced by 4Seasons PGH meets our professional standards. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a productive work pace while guiding a team.
The foreman sets the tone for the crew each day and plays a key role in delivering the high-quality results our clients expect.
Key Responsibilities
Crew Leadership
Lead and supervise a small landscaping crew while maintaining a positive and productive work environment. Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure work is completed efficiently.
Quality Control
Inspect completed work to ensure every property meets company standards for mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and cleanup before leaving the job site.
Equipment Operation
Operate and maintain commercial landscaping equipment including zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other tools used in routine property maintenance.
Job Site Organization
Ensure crews follow proper procedures for loading equipment, maintaining clean work areas, and safely transporting tools and materials.
Client Interaction
Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients on-site and communicate any concerns or property issues to management.
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in professional lawn care or landscape maintenance.
Ability to lead and motivate a small crew while maintaining a productive work pace.
Foreman must ensure every property meets 4Seasons PGH quality standards, including:
clean edging
straight mowing patterns
detailed cleanup
proper trimming and pruning
Must demonstrate strong dependability and communication skills
Requirements include:
ability to communicate clearly with clients and management
valid driver's license and reliable transportation
punctual daily attendance
ability to document issues or property concerns
